Do not get your ears pierced in theKingston branch. They did a terrible job piercing my daughters ears. Complained to head office and they didn't care.

Ordered online. Got halfway through paying. Date of delivery changed. Payed an extra £4.95 to get it on original date. Hasn't arrived on time. What a con.

This is a very sick company. Every time I try to call your resolution team. I always get cut off. I mean you're the one who told me to get in contact.

Had a love to shop card and wanted to purchase a bracelet in the sale with card plus cash but was told could not use love to shop card as payment towards bracelet in sale

I purchased a Red Arrow watch on the 25th November for my partner from the Mansfield branch, they had a 30% off all full price watches. The watches that were reduced had the sale price on them with a red sticker above the original price, we purchased a watch which was priced at £694 (NO RED SALE STICKER WAS DISPLAYED) we calculated the 30% expecting to pay £486 however after altering the watch for my partner they said the price was £694 we obviously questioned this and were advised they had a small reduction on it to keep it out of the sale, The price stickers were in black and even the Manager said it wasn’t ideal and would be sending his feedback on, he went on to offer us a price match which although we appreciated we still ended up paying £42 more than originally expected to pay. We checked our email receipt when we arrived home only to find the reduction to keep it out of the 30% sale was £1 I contacted live chat straight away and was advised as below (quote from our conversation below) I believe the £1 discount is in error, I raised a product like this with our website this morning. I will need to check with them and get back to you you would need to visit the store then for a refund but I will raise this with IT to confirm. I was told they would respond by Monday (yesterday ) this didn’t happen so after calling into the store to see if they had been informed to refund us which they hadn’t, and told me i would need an email with a case number. I spoke to live chat again and they couldn’t even find my case to begin with, i was eventually told that they hadn’t had a response from IT. I asked if i had a case number yesterday and the reply was,Yes it will be 02382903 indicating the agent on the 25th hadn’t even actioned it ? I informed the agent that if i had not had a reply regarding my refund by noon today i would go public so other customers are aware and don’t fall prey to H Samuel hooky methods

I would have give no stars if i had ben able to. For quality jewellery at affordable prices, is this a joke. my daughter and her husband bought her wedding ring with diamonds for their wedding on 20 april 2023. she noticed over a month ago a diamond was missing. she reported this to the store and the ring was sent off but has been told is not manufacturing fault. she isnt a mechanic pulling engines out of cars but works in an office. she was told it would cost her £190 for the repair. this ring was just under £1000 not out of a christmas cracker. her engagement ring with diamonds from a different company which she has wore for 5 years is still perfect. after trying the shop in warrington several times customer services rang her just after her review to say they would give her £50 towards the repair. but also said it would probably happen again so she could choose a different style. for one this ring fits with the engagement ring, why would she want a ring that hadent been put on her finger during her vows also is that comment proof that they havent got much confidence in their diamond rings. as they still have the ting she i now gong on honeymoon next week without a wedding ring. at my age i have lots of friends with children similar age who are engaged and i will certainly be telling them not to purchase from samuals years ago you well well respected but your standards have certainly slipped

I bought two bangles last month and returned both the bangles in the same parcel. But warehouse received only one bangles which is impossible. I have raised ticket CS2325891 to find out on 29th Aug and till waiting for the response. Can't believe this, I have lost £ 120 because of this mess. I will not trust H Samuel online service again.

My item was delivered but I was unable to inspect the item without breaking a seal that void the return. When I wrote this honest feedback following H. Samuel request from their website, I recieved the below response: Thank you for taking the time to submit a review on 9ct Gold Peridot Figure of Eight Drop Earrings "Unfortunately your review has not met our guidelines for posting onto our site. It was a terrible experience I had at H.Samuel's Sunderland store. My spouse birthday was August 6. I came to the store on July 29, selected all I wanted (a necklace, ear rings & handchain, all gold). Sadly, the handchain was not in store, so the order was placed. I came back on August 2 to pick up. It was not available. Returned on August 3, same not available. Only for a very ill-mannered staff by the name Paula, started addressing me rudely and calling me names. Another staff, Julie explained to her that the fault was from the company's system. She was yet unapologetic. I came back the following day, August 4, cancelled my order running to over £400. H. Samuel lost a sale, lost a customer and lost referrals. I believe that, staff should be properly trained in particular oriented on inclusion & diversity. I perceived that she acted against a person of colour.

Had 2 completley different wedding rings from here both lost stones in a few montjs. Not good quality jewellery.

I handed a precious item of jewellery to be repaired, this was given to me from a close passed on loved one. They did not repair it, they shortened the item so that I could no longer wear it. Even though I gave them photographic evidence of before and after, and not to mention how heartbreaking and distressing this is as it is recent passing of my loved one, the way they treated me felt callous and generic. All accountability was denied and I was brushed off with not even an offer of reimbursement for their evidential error. If I could give a "minus star", I would. I wish I had gone to a smaller, family owned jewellers that treats their customers with care and concern, with regard to their reputation.

I bought a pendant on necklace ,original price £499, down to £125 in sale in Ashton under Lyme branch. She asked did I want extended warranty which would cost quite a bit because based on £499, not price I paid. I declined. Bought on 20 June 2023 as 50th Anniversary present, my wife wore it for two weeks then said a link was broken. We took it back on 24th July and it was sent off to H Samuel suppliers for assessment. Those suppliers said that the chain was soundly made in their opinion so no free repair, it would cost £49 for one tiny link. There had been no rough handling of the necklace to snap it Shabby treatment by H Samuel which marred our Anniversary memories somewhat

Avoid: I received HSamuel gift vowcher fChristmas 2022 and still have not been able to use it...every time I walk into the local store (3 x now) my heart sinks - many poor quality items, definite lack of knowledge from staff members. I ordered a chain online to pickup in store so that I could return it if needed - lucky I did as the chain was tiny, looked nothing like the image or size stated, and I had to challenge a staff member to refund back on that Gift card after they said they dont do that. The week before, in the same store, another staff member confired there was no guarantee on jewellery - I challenged that again then another staff member confirmed manufacturers guarantee etc. Draining experience, there seems to be no real 'quality' for the work nor the products.

I bought a present for nearly a £100 in London E20 1EP on 01/03/23 and the vendor give me a £25 voucher. I was extremely happy and grateful, I ask him, how I use the voucher and he said I have to spend a minimum £75 to use it. I look further to treat my self, after a while I found something for me, I ask the same vendor to assist me when I went to pay, only then he read the small letter on the back of the voucher and the item have to be full price to use the voucher and most of the item at the moment are on 25%discount. I ask to speak to the manager to explain as to how the vendor told how to use the £25 discount and the manager send someone else to speak to me in stead. She only apologise about the small print and nothing she could do about it. I feel extremely miss guided and bad about it, I’m elderly and disabled. To me it was extremely bad customer services and I was totally ignored as to how I was advise by the vendor in regards of the £25 voucher went he give it to me.

After attempting to order a bracelet. using evouchers in part payment, a mistake was made on the (hard to navigate checkout. I then attempted to us "virtual assistant" -----useless! Then on-line chat to cancel the order, and refund my Paypal.

Rubbish customer service waiting hours for 3 stores leeds ls1, whiterose centre and Wakefield to get my cash in to refundxme, got excusesxbad customer service obviously don't like giving money back to customers, bad company won't be using again Rubbish

Went into the Warrington store today to purchase some earrings and chose a pair that I really liked. The assistant that served me said she could not find a code listed to put the sale through on the till. I asked could the code be bypassed so I could buy them and was told no they would have to be taken off sale. No solution offered as to whether I could come back when the problem was resolved. Really bad customer service. Went elsewhere!

Bad experience ordered a watch for 21st I was waiting for an email to let me know that the watch was going to be delivered I never received an email went online chat they advised me that the watch was sold out send the money left the bank now I have to wait up to 1 week to receive money back they just apologised but never contacted me to let me know also bad customer service won't use them again !!
