I didn’t follow the instructions but the results are great nonetheless! I washed my hair 3 times, then I applied the solution with my fingers while wearing gloves. I couldn’t run a comb through my hair so I used a regular brush. And I think that was my mistake - leaving too much product on. After 90 minutes my hair was like a dried clump and I couldn’t dry it. So I rinsed the keratin despite the instructions. Not too thoroughly just enough to wash off excess product. Then I dried and used a flat iron around 5 times per strand. I’m impressed how straight my hair looks but not sure how long it’s going to last. The flat iron part took me about 30 min as I got too lazy to do it 8-12 times.
