Had an MOT at Halfords Llandudno, young man phoned me to advise it had failed requiring “Major Repairs” at a cost of £1900. I advised not to do the work as it wouldn’t be worth it. My wife then advised me that other locals had been caught out by “The Halfords MOT scam”, so instead of heading to “We Buy Any Car” I rebooked the MOT at ATS. Again it failed but the cost of repair was now £190 for a fractured coil spring with no other “Major Repairs” needed. How can 2 MOT’s be so different. Anyway lesson learnt, sorry lad no “bonus” for you this time!! Would have given zero stars if I could
