I was told that MOT was free when taking a service. According to Halfords, my car failed because 3 bulb lights.
They wanted me to buy the light bulbs from them and pay the fitting. I can do that myself and save some money. They were no happy when I said that.
MOT was not free, on top of that, I had to call them and ask for a retest and pay a fee. Is this free? I don't think so.
I checked my bulb lights and there is nothing wrong with them. Bad service, they want to charged you for something you don't need.
