Be very careful before bringing your car to have the MOT.
I have my car failed on the test, I agreed to change all the required parts in order to get the certificate and after leaving my car for 2 days for repair, they damaged another part (not related to the major defects) and don't want to take responsibility for the damage. Basically, the garage wants to charge me almost £200 on top of the bill.
I refused to pay and they refused to give me the MOT certificate!
