I booked a tyre replacement on 21 December for home fitting on 23 December and received a confirmation email.
23 December - no fitter arrived
24 December - called and was told the appointment was cancelled by Halfords - they apologised that I hadn't been told and was referred for a refund
27 December - called and spoke to the refunds team, they said they'd put a call through, someone would be in touch that afternoon....no call came through
28 December - called again, advised there was no record of my previous calls and a case was raised - advised it would take up to 72 hours to respond
3 January - still no contact. Called and was advised there was no progress but they would escalate my case. I asked to speak to a manager, they were busy but confirmed my number and was advised a manager would call me back. Still no call!
And still no refund - I'm due over £180 back!
