Bought a battery from Halfords two years ago. Paid top price. Had a 5 year guarantee. The battery has failed was told due to car not being used during lockdown the guarantee was not valid for replacement or any refund. Car had been used but only once a week. Guarantee worthless. They have lost another customer. There are better companies that will honour a guarantee and give a better service.
