We have used Pure Coat (food-safe and UV-resistant) to protect our new IKEA KARLBY benchtop. We were able to apply two coats for the size of the benchtop and will order another 500ml can to apply at least one more coat. So far, it looks great - hopefully, it will provide the protection we desire.
