I bought this item as my son had a mouth infection and when it cleared up he wouldn't use his Manuel toothbrush (think he associated it with causing his gums to bleed). So I thought he would enjoy the vibrations of the toothbrush and the soft bristles. Unfortunately, he would just put the toothbrush in his mouth to feel the vibration and not actually brush his teeth. Hopefully in time this will change and this is no refectory on the toothbrush as I felt the make and shape were very good and just the eight size for a toddler.
