The doctor I connected with, Dr. James Valinoti, was awesome. Absolutely incredible first visit. He was patient, inquisitive, made me feel welcome, had an ability to transcend typical video barriers to make me feel like I was in his office. I felt supported and like I had someone on the other end of the phone who truly 'got' me, which is unlike any other first psychiatry appointment I can remember. Instead of feeling anxious, I felt taken care of and even laughed a lot. He is a rare gem that I feel very lucky to have found.
