This was a birthday cake along with some gifts from my sister. I was available at home and checked multiple times at the door. It is most likely that the delivery guy (Shahid) just took it with him and this brings a bad reputation to UBER.
The total order was worth £36.98. The delivery guy’s name was Shahid who most likely stole the parcel.
Uber has refused to issue a refund and also claimed that it was our fault since the driver tried calling and waited for 7 minutes. I can confirm that I was downstairs within a minute of receiving the ‘delivered’ message and there was no parcel or delivery man waiting.
What a horrible experience with UBER eats.
