I was travelling in Cabo and took an Uber out of resort to a public beach 30 min drive away. Driver agreed to pick us back up in 2 hours. He never showed and never contacted me to cancel. Me and my wife waited in 35 degree heat for over an hour. I got heat stroke waiting. We used a locals phone to call him, his number wasn’t even active. We had to resort to figuring out how to take the city bus, almost got lost. I told Uber support the story and they just kept sending me the same response 10 times saying it was my fault. I asked them multiple questions and even after 10 messages from them my questions are still unanswered. I got more upset talking to Uber support than I was that the driver left us stranded in a literal desert . I kept saying to stop copy and pasting the same message and they kept doing it! I said only give me yes or no answers to my questions and they copy and pasted the same message for the tenth time, then I just gave up. I am furious with them and will be taking this further when I am done my vacation. Representative Names were Celia (no last name on file) then I requested a new representative that was worse, her name was Melissa duque.
Worst experience I have ever had and will be deleting Uber app!
