If I could give zero stars I absolutely would, because zero rides were completed. My daughter’s friend ordered an Uber to their home from our house which is about an hour and 10 minutes away. A driver was assigned then a couple minutes later that driver canceled. The second driver assigned picked up her friend and then drives 2 minutes down the road, turns around and brings her friend back to my house. When I confronted the Uber driver as to why he accepted the ride to only drive the passenger back and cancel, the Uber driver argued with me about the fact he was only getting paid $40. (Not to mention, the tip is not paid until the end of the ride.) It is not the customers fault what Uber pays their drivers. That matter needed to be taken up with Uber not a customer. Not to mention my daughter and her friend only had enough money to pay for this 1 ride. because of the way this driver went about things, now, my daughters bank account has been charged $80+ for the ride and now needs to wait for a refund. I could write a whole other paragraph on how much this was an inconvenience to myself, my daughters friend and their family. Both families have small children at home and were unable to drive out as it’s late at night, hence why the Uber was ordered. Extremely dissatisfied with service and the fact that I cannot reach a customer service representative at this hour is Mind blowing considering how much Uber charges customers should be able to pay for 24 hour customer service.
