Extremely disappointed with my Stavanger rubber-soled boots. The quality is good, very comfortable but they squeak like hell every time it rains! At first I thought it was due to a fault so I sent them back but i was told that it was perfectly normal, that it was only the rubber rubbing off the ground when clearly there is some air that makes that sound. I was told that it was my fault for wearing them too often or by the wrong weather conditions. So i have a pair of £345 winter boots that I can't wear when it rains or snow. Unless I don't mind the high pitched embarrassing squeaky sound. I hope that no real commando has to wear these commando soles!
