Bill Nelson
Not a lot went wrong but I feel the course could have presented the material faster and in a more imaginative and memorable way. For example: - illustrations or examples of manual handling failures could better highlight the importance of correct manual handling; - mnemonics could be used to help the trainee better remember material from slide to slide; and - animating slides to introduce one point at a time, slowly, is frustrating and irritating for the quick and keen learner - why not let the individual step through bullets at their own pace. Also, I failed the first manual handling assessment v.4 question asking what would prompt a re-evaluation of risks. While I accept employee feedback is one reason, surely failed machinery would also involve re-evaluation if an operation is to proceed with minimal interruption. So - some ambiguity was present in the question and multiple choice answers.
