“I enjoyed the training, which was straightforward and easy to follow. The course has made me more aware of the 14 food allergens, how to keep students safe from allergic reactions, and how to administer an adrenaline auto-injector (AAI) during an anaphylactic reaction. It also helped me understand when to provide appropriate medication in cases of minor allergic reactions.”

“Nothing. I would value this training if it was in person and i was paid for. On line makes it a tick box with little value exercise. This is the 30th or 40th time I have done a CP course so I know most of the material. I only work 4 hours a week on a zero hours contract with a small group of students some of whom are over 18 so much of the material is not relevant to my context. Intellectually i found it intersting to see how safeguarding has developed over the decades. However if I was dependant on my 4 hours financially which i am not i would be resentful of the couple of hours unpaid time i had to spend on it.”

“Really positive course and a very useful refresher. I particularly found the sections on adrenaline auto-injectors and Allergy Action Plans useful. As someone working in Alternative Provision, it has given me additional confidence around supporting pupils with allergies. Would definitely recommend. Excellent course, particularly considering it was provided free of charge.”
