DONT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY - Mini Cooper was described as in great condition by Abble 'the salesman'- my son paid for car in full before Christmas 2022 (his first car that he had saved up for) as purchasing over the phone due to long distance from Home address. Car was delivered one week later than promised. The weather had been fine across the UK on that day, however, when the car arrived, all panels were filthy, wheel arche4ed caked in mud, wheel arch trims were all faded and interior carpets and engine bay covered in mud. Wing mirror trim and some internal trims either hanging off or loose. Had to spend 3 hours cleaning car as didn't want him to see the car in suck a shocking state. Phoned salesman and promised that they would reimburse me some money for state of car but never did. Numerous calls made to company without reply. Salesman also stated that the car was booked in for Valet on morning of delivery to us but he did not check that it had been cleaned. I provided them with a quote for replacement parts - only to be told that they would only pay half of the £300 for the parts. Also told that I could not reject the car as trim does not count as faulty in their opinion and that if they considered taking the car back, I would have to drive it back to them - this is inaccurate information under Trading Standards law - I would advise anyone to consider purchasing a car from these people, to spend a bit more money and get a car that is as described and arrive in a clean presentable condition - ignore their statement of 14 day money back guarantee as they dont honour this also. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST - wont even show me a copy of the HPI check of vehicle so one wonders its history. - DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - one also wonders if all online positive reviews have actually been written by Hilton Car Supermarket !!
