We used the long-term park and ride facilities at Manchester Airport and were impressed with the ease of use at the car-park. The only thing that let it down was the unfriendly and unhelpful bus drivers on the early shift. As we arrived and parked up there was a bus waiting. He saw us arrive but decided to drive off just as we were getting out of the car. This was at 2.00 a.m. on a very cold October morning and seemed to be a particulalry thoughtless thing to do. The second driver who arrived was grumpy and didn't speak, even though we said good morning to him. However, on the return journey the driver was friendly.
