Mine was a very last minute booking but Holiday Cottages responded quickly and liased with the owner to ensure that they were prepared for my arrival.
The property was as described, albeit a little more remote than I had anticipated, but I enjoyed my stay and the personal touches provided by my host were greatly appreciated.
I would not hesitate to book through Holidaycottages.co.uk again.
