“Foden lodge had a great layout, very well equipped and was perfect for our family get together. The location was ideal too- peaceful and secluded with easy access to the whole North Norfolk area, and also the Broads. Weather helped of course but generally regarded by the family as possibly the best ever.”

“The accommodation we stayed at was dirty and in need of TLC. It also did not comply with mandatory fire regs.After some prompting 20% offered initially was increased to a full refund.The property was taken off website.The entire process took approximately 1 month. I do feel if I had not had some insight into recent fire regs and conversations with Hampshire fire dept if issues would have been addressed so quickly and resolved.”

“It is easy to book with you and you have a great choice of dog freindly cottages BUT as said in 3 complaint Corner cottage at Pett was very disappointing not enclosed garden day 1 lost the dog on main road lucky some one found her and got her back cottage needs a lot of repair as told you but no one responded”

“The cottage has great views over the sea and was clean and tidy. The steps up were hard for us being pensioners and the only issue was the shower which did not have a grab rail to hold on to and no bath caddy for shampoo/soap/gel. Would certainly go back again.”

“We had such a lovely stay here in summer 2026. The lodge is very well equipped and has beautiful views of the river and surrounding area. We were able to access the river bank through the garden and walk 5 mins to a beautiful beach where our children played and swam all day. Would highly recommend this lodge and hope to come back soon!”

“It was dirty when we arrived ,there were spiders and eggs of something, it was crawling with ants, we didnt stay the full week went home on wed, the owner said she would give us a refund but havnt received anything as yet, they also said it was dog friendly but what they ment was they had a rope to tie your dog up,”

“A fantastic company to book your holiday with. An extensive range of properties across the country, suitable for all party sizes and particular needs for your break, you're sure to find the place that is ideal for you. Very responsive with any queries, and, most importantly, with real people. This was without doubt, the best holiday my wife and I have had. A stunning property in breathtaking scenery. Will definitely be booking with Holidaycottages again.”
