“Booking was easy and the property was amazing. A grade II listed property with sympathetic heritage restoration with modern facilities was a triumph along with two other properties. It was truly a memorable stay and I appreciated everything the hosts provided within our holiday stay which was clean, cosy and comfortable designs. The only issue was the WiFi but due to the location in the valley it is difficult to provide and the hosts are trying their best to rectify and are invested in getting it right.”

“Had a lovely week at Shipwrights in Appledore . Lovely cottage , tastefully modernised , felt home from home . Lots of nice places to eat and drink . Dogs welcome . Got the ferry to Instow . Beautiful beach … definitely going again”

“We had a wonderful week at Mor a Mynydd Abersoch in May. The house was in a perfect location to walking to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property and visiting the Potted lobster in Abersoch. We had two dogs with us who thoroughly enjoyed their time on the beach”

“The little forge in Gower was a superb location. We were awoke every morning to the dawn chorus through the sky light. Handy pub right across the road.”

“Hope Lodge, near Shrewsbury, was a very pleasant place to spend holiday time. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. As an OAP, my only suggestion would be to have written instructions on how to work appliances like the cooker, microwave, coffee machine and TVs.”

“We have used Holiday Cottages many times and never been disappointed. We had a lovely week at Ramblers Rest. Everything you could want was provided, so much space and so comfortable and quiet. We would love to stay again. Natalie the owner was very helpful, as are Holiday Cottages themselves.”

“We had a thoroughly nice break at Dickins' Cottage, Trenarlett Farm. This is our fourth visit at Trenarlett Farm and it never disapoints. The accommodation is always spot less and has everything you require for a lovely break in the lovely Cornish countryside. We will be returning again next year.”

“Owners of Olive Cottage Lower Treluswell Farm Penryn Cornwall made us very welcome. Home bread, milk, scones and cream provided - much appreciated. Cottage and outdoor seating area - very clean and comfortable. Location ideal for visits to Truro, Falmouth and Garden Centre at Carnon Downs. Silver band concert in Victoria Park on Sunday; Trelissick Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens - very enjoyable.”

“Inglestone Cottage. Well appointed lovely cottage in nice location with generous enclosed garden. Would benefit from a utility/drying room especially for those customers with dogs and or children when coming back from the beach or on wet days.”

“We have been renting cottages for many years and Yew barn was by far the best cottage ever. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and everything you would need was there. The owners were lovely people and we would thoroughly recommend Ewe Barn”

“Property was nice but did not have the ‘stunning rural views’ promised. The whole premise was the living area was upstairs to maximise the views. The leaves of a tree right outside one window with a telegraph pole in front of it and a garage with large barn behind do not constitute stunning or rural in my opinion. My complaint was rejected on the grounds that stunning rural is an objective decision. Very disappointing, especially when the inside of the property was lovely but not what we thought we were paying for. Supplied lots of photos to show this to the company. Due to health issues we value a good view as we spend a lot of time in a property on holiday.”

“Welsh Cob Cottage was superb. High quality facilities, nice touches such as dressing gowns, welcome chocolates, wine, milk etc. The owner was lovely & made us so welcome. I can't think of anything to criticise.”

“Turned up at property which was horribly unclean and unhygenic. It was so bad we booked an alternative property, but Holiday Cottages first said it was nothing to do with them, then accused us of lying and refused to approve a refund. Abysmal customer service. Avoid.”
