“We have booked several properties through this company over the years and have . always found them easy to deal with. The properties have always been as described the last one Honeysuckle Cottage in Weare Giffard Devon was really beautiful and well equipped.”

“A well presented house in a beautiful location. There is everything you need for a self catered holiday, even a treat in the fridge on arrival. The owners are super helpful and responsive and have left a folder full of information. The garden is very secure to let your dogs roam and not worry about escape. The games room is perfect for keeping the kids entertained. Note, dogs aren't allowed beyond the dinning room. Multiple walks available straight from the door and plenty of wildlife to watch. A truly wonderful countryside escape.”

“Lovely cottage in every way possible. We have stayed there 5 times. Nothing more positive to say. Two downsides:- 1) Booking for 2027 not open early enough despite asking, as a returning customer, for a booking. 2) I had to run around trying to sort out a mis- delivered parcel which should have been the responsibility of the letting company and not the holidaymaker.”

“We have dogs so we look for properties available for 3. We have used Holiday cottages frequently and I can honestly say that description and information on the web is accurate. Each cottage we have stayed from Cornwall to Scotland has been clean beautifully presented and well equipped.”

“I wouldn’t say that our stay was so bad at 25 beach court saundersfoot, but I would like to think that when people review property’s that something would be done! The bathroom needs attention, black mould in and around shower, toilet seat is too small for pan, curtains in bedroom let so much light in from the outside light, a fan would have been a welcome addition The door handle into the main living area kept coming off, the kitchen tap was very wobbly. The mattress could be upgraded, I really wish the owners would at least stay in their properties for a week, to see what could be made /done better….. BUT on another note the view is to die for sitting in the balcony early morning and late evening was fantastic, we had a storm on our last night and was lovely to watch the lightening!”

“The booking process & the aftercacre, even the complaints section was fine, Thank you Fern (complaints) for handling ou complaint for us. What amazes me me is that a company with so many letting offices under their banner seems not to care about the properties they advertise. From what I.ve read on this review site it's a common theme, dirty properties, things not working, owners who couldn't care less. We stayed in 1b Arcadia House Tenby & had problems from day 1 ,filthy fat filled grill pan dirty pots and pans, toaster not working, one of the showers all but usless, smoke alarms not working, the boiler looked as though it had been by lightening and had no sevice history,only 1 carbon monoxide alarm there should have been 2 and the 1 didn't work, tiolet cisterns playing up all the time we were there, others things not up to standard. We even found out that the owner hadn't bothered to buy a TV licience for the property. After contactacting holidaycottages, because the owner didn't answer my calls, they told me he would be in contact the same day, guess it was too much trouble because he never phoned. with all the photos and videos I supplied hollidaycottages i received a 50% refund and although Fern has tried to contact the owner he is playing hard to find. A lot of what i complained about was reported way back in April including the filthy smelly grill pan, yet nothing was rectified by the time we were there in June. This place is a health and safety hazzard with an owner who doesn't care less, yet some poor unsuspecting customer will pay good money to stay there, because Hollidaycottges are still advertising it as a 4* property. I reall y hope this review helps, by stopping anyone spending good money to stay in this not very nice place”

“We stayed at the Meeting room in beer in June, wow what a hidden little gem.its perfect for a couple & their dog for a nice mini break.Location 10/10 you couldn't get any better.Lots of nice pubs&restaurants within minutes walk.Great base to visit the coastline of Devon.”
