“Good location.”

“Excellent website enabling me to quickly find what we wanted. Fairly easy to make a booking but this was a last minute booking and they were not very good at contacting the owner. He later told me he had responded quickly but the Holiday Cottages lady never rang me back to confirm the booking. I had to ring again after lunch. Also, she said there was a key safe set up but there wasn't. I was a bit concerned that the owner would be difficult to contact when we arrived but fortunately he was already close by. I preferred the old set up with local companies handling things but Holiday Cottages and others are buying up all the smaller companies. You now have to deal with people who have little knowledge of the area, living hundreds of miles away.”

“I have booked with holidaycottages before and have found them very efficient. The details for finding the properties were good. The reminders of when the payments are due are useful, especially for people who lead busy lives! I would recommend them as there is usually somewhere to pick that answers most of your wishes.”

“Beautiful location, on the hosts Croft, overlooking the Loch. very well looked after and presented. All the facilities you could ask for. Hosts very welcoming presenting us with 6 lovely free range eggs off the Croft.”

“The beds where very uncomfortable, the oven was broken, the shower did not work and the settee could do with new cushions in as very hard, and it also said there was shops near by but if you did not drive you would of had a problem as it was 20m in the car to get to any shops”

“We really enjoyed out stay at Hafod y Bryn this is the second visit it's such a lovely house very comfortable spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We love to visit the many surrounding places .
