“We were 3 adults and a dog and cottage/facilities ok for that number. Two bedrooms v small and without adequate storage. No heating in daytime in winter - disgraceful given what we were paying. Poor maintenance - ceiling inspection hatch fell down, drawer of chest wld not stay closed. A selection of electrical items shoved in corner of bedroom.”

“Lovely home from home! With all that you need to enjoy the west of Cornwall. Minutes from St Ives, St Michael’s Mount, Helston & Camborne - an ideal location for so many attractions. With all the amenities and hot tub Hollies Cottage had everything we could have wanted”

“The Edge Beach house was perfect for our getaway. Minutes from the beach and a cosy and comfy place to come back to at the end of the day - who could ask for more? The open plan kitchen is well stocked and means you are still a part of the group instead of being locked away if you are cooking. The house was seasonally decorated and there was a lovely welcome basket. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and we found the little cupboard downstairs perfect for drying clothes after the toddler ran into the sea. We will be back!”

“Wir haben uns im Schulhaus von St.Gennys sehr wohl gefühlt! Das ganze Haus sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Toller offener Kamin, sehr nette Gastgeber, mit selbst gebackenen Scones🥰 Wunderbare Atmosphäre und Ruhe in atemberaubender Natur🌿”

“Excellent and expensive fittings and electrical priducts. BUT no simple things like coathooks, furniture in bedrooms. Por plumbing, random light switches, and incomprehsible heating controls.”

“The Captains Cabin, and owners David & Sue, provided us with the perfect family get together. Three generations of our family enjoyed a week of stunning views and scenery in this most comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended by everyone.”

“Lovely selection of available properties, with comprehensive descriptions and images. Easy to use website to book and good communication prior to holiday dates. Also extremely helpful when due to an unexpected operation for my wife and we were allowed to transfer our booking to a later date.”

“There was ample choice and the filters are most helpful. We were able to book a cottage with confidence knowing all the relevant information. The followup details for arrival were simple but complete. Overall a simple and enjoyable experience. We will use Holidaycottages again.”

“Only the surroundings made us happy as they were beautiful. I hate being negative but this property is not really accessible for those with mobility problems. There is a step into the property and the toilet seat is not raised. The shower is, not only in the bath, but the water from both shower fittings hits the tiles and not bodies. My husband with Parkinson’s could not shower at all. The wardrobe is narrow & by the main entrance door. We could not access itv news as it was Meridian for the east coast of England??”
