“The cottage was clean and comfortable and our hosts were so friendly. It was a wonderful experience staying on their farm and seeing the cows which weren’t at all noisy. The surrounding fields were lovely to walk our dog in. We usually eat out in the evenings but all we wanted to do was stay in the cottage and enjoy the open fire and cook for ourselves.”

“Puffins Landing was absolutely perfect in every way possible……..from a well equipped kitchen to amazingly comfortable beds & sofas, it really was a beautifully put together home from home. We have one large dog and there was plenty of space for him to move around. The views were stunning from the lounge and gorgeous walks from the door and a short drive away. Plenty of places to eat, either sit in or take away…….we’ll definitely be back!”

“The house my family and I stayed in to celebrate special birthdays was absolutely amazing. The warm welcome from the host we received on arrival to us all enjoying the extensive space of the house and grounds was fantastic. Perfect for our family adults and children catered for all. Loved every minute and didn’t want to leave,”

“Not often is the reality better than the photos, but in this case it was. Cosy, otherworldly, you really feel like the lord and lady of the manor. Run a bath, open a bottle and just relax. Wonderful!”

“We had a great stay at Ivy cottage - two adults and two dogs. Everything you could think of was in the kitchen and we loved using the coffee machine. The garden was great for the dogs and I’m sure if it had been summer we would have enjoyed sitting outside with our morning coffee. The location was great. We tried out both local pubs and enjoyed the common for dog walks. We would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area.”

“Lovely holiday in the Peak District staying on outskirts of Matlock. One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. Very comfortable, well appointed and has everything you want in a holiday cottage. Dog friendly, lovely welcome hamper and visit from the owner after we arrived.”
