“We had a lovely stay at Swallows Southwold. The location is perfect… 100 yards to a lovely Adnams cafe where we enjoyed breakfast. The shops are right in the doorstep too. The house is super comfy masses of storage in the bedrooms .. mattresses very comfortable. There are lots of green spaces nearby if you are bringing your dogs. Ours wouldn’t use the outside decking. We would return”

“Dunes The Cottage we booked in Croyde was great for our multigenerational holiday. We had plenty of space for us all. It was well equipped. Our only criticisms are that the marks on the knobs for the cooker have worn so we had to do some guesstimating for the temperatures, also the bedroom curtains upstairs are not blackout. Which made the bedrooms bright too early.”

“We booked two separate holiday cottages through holidaycottages.co.uk during May. The information and photographs provided gave a true picture of what to expect, and the booking process was straightforward to complete. We were delighted with both cottages, the first at Loxwood in West Sussex for 3 nights and the second at Wolvesnewton, near Usk in Monmouthshire for a week. Would be very happy to use this company again or recommend it to friends.”

“Very easy to book. Seemed to have a good selection of properties available. Kept us informed and provided access to property details when needed. Didn't need it but there was also a support line which was comforting.”

“Love the location of this apartment, great for exploring the area. Fantastic walks and views all round the area. This is a second stay at this apartment; everything was so good last year we booked again. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the bed, not comfortable like it was a year ago - the mattress needs replacing.”

“Very old character cottage which suited our group as the more mature travellers. Not sure it would be acceptable to younger people as very old fashioned furniture. Plenty of room to relax and bedrooms very spacious. One concern was the shower heads, which were very badly placed within the cubicle, consequently difficult to use. Overall a lovely holiday.”

“The process from booking to arriving at our accommodation was great. We stayed at Lamb Corner House in Pooley Bridge and we were not disappointed. The house was well appointed and in a great location, ideal for all the local amenities the village has to offer. We will definitely use Holiday Cottages again.”

“Booking was easy and the property was amazing. A grade II listed property with sympathetic heritage restoration with modern facilities was a triumph along with two other properties. It was truly a memorable stay and I appreciated everything the hosts provided within our holiday stay which was clean, cosy and comfortable designs. The only issue was the WiFi but due to the location in the valley it is difficult to provide and the hosts are trying their best to rectify and are invested in getting it right.”

“Had a lovely week at Shipwrights in Appledore . Lovely cottage , tastefully modernised , felt home from home . Lots of nice places to eat and drink . Dogs welcome . Got the ferry to Instow . Beautiful beach … definitely going again”

“We had a wonderful week at Mor a Mynydd Abersoch in May. The house was in a perfect location to walking to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property and visiting the Potted lobster in Abersoch. We had two dogs with us who thoroughly enjoyed their time on the beach”

“Hope Lodge, near Shrewsbury, was a very pleasant place to spend holiday time. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. As an OAP, my only suggestion would be to have written instructions on how to work appliances like the cooker, microwave, coffee machine and TVs.”
