“Easy to use website and a lot of properties to choose from. Booking is straight forward and communication good from Holiday Cottages, they keep you up to date with any information and send reminders for payment and arrival details. Have used this company many times.”

“What a pleasant surprise. A holiday break in a beautifully furnished and decorated cottage on the edge of the New Forest. Apart from the two sofas, everything else, including the utensils, looked brand new. It was nice and warm accommodation and the bed large and comfortable. The owner and his wife were very nice and helpful. We had a fantastic week and would seriously consider visiting again. Has created a beautiful memory”

“Lovely clean, well equipped upside down house in a perfect location. Close to the beach and coastal walks. Not far from shops, bars etc either. We fell in love with this property and will definitely book again.”

“Cleanest holiday cottage I have stayed in. Bonus having a parking space but really tricky get in and out would suit a smaller car we had great difficulty getting our bags out of the rear seats without bashing the doors and dislocating your hip.”

“Our cottage was fantastic but I have to say that Holiday Cottages is a superb company too. My mum-in-law fell ill two days before we were due to start our break last autumn. By the next day it was obvious she was dying, so we cancelled our holiday. We hadn’t taken out insurance because we were in the UK but HC was ever so understanding and immediately said we could rebook for the spring. 10/10!”

“Cosy Cottage was a piece of English village magic. The electric fire made for lovely evenings in we have stayed at 5 holiday cottages and Cosy Cottages was the best of them all, the garden was lovely and welcoming.”

“Booking process is pretty straightforward. The low score reflects a disappointing “after sales” issue and response. I left behind a key pouch, very small and light. When I asked Holiday Cottages if they could arrange to have it returned to me they demanded a payment of £20 ! When I queried this they said it was highlighted in their terms and conditions and that was the charge and couldn’t be changed. Sometimes common sense should be applied as opposed to what is cast in stone in a company’s terms and conditions. This is even more applicable when you take into account, as a long-standing customer of Holiday Cottages, the thousands of pounds I have spent on cottage rental over the years. Realistically the pouch could have been returned in the post for less than £5! As a result I informed the company to give the pouch to charity and will look to book future cottages with one of their competitors!!”

“After 2 days into our holiday my dog was sick so we left, leaving 5 days for people to rebook. We’ve been here 3 times since August and given a lot of money. 10% discounts offered by owner which is a joke!! Never will return !!!”

“Eretiz Barn was a lovely place to stay, we were 4 adults plus 3 small dogs and there was plenty of room for us all. It was a great base for our daily trips out exploring the beautiful Cornwall. The kitchen & dining area was very spacious and had everything we needed for cooking every evening, and there was a lovely large lounge area for putting our feet up, relaxing and watching the decent size TV. The beds were very comfy and the showers had lovely hot water. Plenty of parking for our 2 vehicles and the garden was secure for the dogs. All in all we were very happy and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“The cottage was clean and comfortable and our hosts were so friendly. It was a wonderful experience staying on their farm and seeing the cows which weren’t at all noisy. The surrounding fields were lovely to walk our dog in. We usually eat out in the evenings but all we wanted to do was stay in the cottage and enjoy the open fire and cook for ourselves.”

“Puffins Landing was absolutely perfect in every way possible……..from a well equipped kitchen to amazingly comfortable beds & sofas, it really was a beautifully put together home from home. We have one large dog and there was plenty of space for him to move around. The views were stunning from the lounge and gorgeous walks from the door and a short drive away. Plenty of places to eat, either sit in or take away…….we’ll definitely be back!”
