“I stayed at Mulberry Lodge in Norfolk and had a wonderful relaxing and peaceful time. I was welcomed with a hamper of goodies and nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were next door. It was very cosy with a log burner too. Perfect for me.”

“I have already given my views on this accommodation and still waiting for a reply for my request for a full refund as we came home a day early as we couldn't stay any longer in such a dirty place. My husband had had a stroke a year before and this was a little holiday that we were both looking forward to but were bitterly disappointed in stead. Well i am thinking of taking it further if i don't get the curtsy of a reply and satisfactory resolution. P.Duckworth”

“We booked 3 cottages to visit a family member in the UK. Our deposits totaled over $2,000. Very sadly, that family member passed away unexpectedly, and we needed to cancel our trip well in advance of our travel date. I understand the policy is no refund on deposit but one of us also purchased insurance and even that was denied because our aunt who died was not immediate family. Please do not book with this company and don't bother with insurance. I cannot express how awful they have been to us. For peace of mind, book with any other company but not Holiday Cottages.”

“DO NOT USE HOLIDAY COTTAGES.CO.UK - they will rip you off! I made a booking online for Little Hill End Stables - Reynoldston and noticed that I had made a mistake with my dates; I had booked 5 days instead of 7. I telephoned with 2 MINUTES of the booking and explained my error, politely asking if the dates could be changed. Holidaycottages.co.uk insisted on STILL CHARGING ME £75, on top the £50 I had already paid for the booking charge. The booking was made at 20:58 on 26 Jan and I telephoned at 21:00. Booking reference 8877487. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE. They have zero respect for their customers.”

“Simple booking process. Erratic customer service spoilt our stay.We looked ahead to note extremely cold weather forecast. We contacted to check heating arrangements were adequate. False assurance provided that there would be plenty of logs to last our whole stay. Not true. Living room heater totally inadequate so without the log burner it was cold. Snow and yes that icy cold that made us check things with the company beforehand meant it was not possible for us to get logs. Did not feel that evenings sitting in kitchen was what we had paid for. Assurance that heating on well before our arrival time was correct. Appreciate the weather made life tricky for everyone but response to complaint by phone was useless. Thanks to neighbours who helped us out,”

“We loved our stay at Furrow Lodge, Somerton. A very high spec holiday let. Clean, and modern. Furrow Lodge is not far from Yeovil, Bath, Wells and Glastonbury, all worth a visit. The Red Lion Inn is just under a mile walk down the road and provides a good choice of excellent food. We had everything we needed for a lovely restful stay and highly recommend you visit this lovely lodge.”

“We loved the location right by the chain ferry. Accommodation excellent with a very pleasant basket of groceries and wine. Kitchen well appointed with numerous pots and pans. Bedrooms comfortable and warm. First floor balcony offered spectacular views overlooking the harbour. Would happily recommend. We will return.”

“Fabulous cottage ! This was our second New year spent there . There is nothing I would change, the new bathroom has made it perfect. The EV charger is a real bonus. We will be back.”

“A beautiful place to stay. Everything was perfect. The cleanliness to all the amenities, the owners were so welcoming. A great location. We have stayed in so many cottages/lodges and we have never re-booked the same place until now. We will be back next New Year.”

“excellent cottage everything you need and beautifully clean and welcoming. The welcome pack was lovely and my granddaughter loved the hot tub but the most appreciative member of the family was our chocolate labrador who loved the underfloor heating in the conserrvatory . I cant recommend this property enough”
