1 pumphouse cottage promised so much by its 5 star rating and customer feed back. In reality the lounge is a dark hole. It had an overpowering smell of dog and or fly spray. By the time we unloaded the car the lounge and kitchen had a unacceptable number of flies landing on all surfaces. Food prep was impossible. After a night of flies landing on our faces and over breakfast landing on our food we gave up and left. This is not a 5 star property the shower especially needs a major make over. Sorry to say Holiday cottages have still failed to contact us after emails and even a letter sent by us. A TOTALY RUINED HOLIDAY.
