We stayed at Gower Tides, The Stable, which was a beautiful cottage. Full of character and painstakingly renovated to a very high standard. We loved the exposed stone walls and many of the original features still visible. It had everything you would need for a long stay, a real home from home. It was the perfect base to explore Wales and we paid visits from the Mumbles to The Black Mountains on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. If you don’t fancy cooking indoors then the local amenities are only a walk away. We had our own space to relax in outside at the back of the property with far reaching views over fields, hills and Swansea Bay. We particularly loved the horses that would come up to our low stone wall from over the fields most days. A beautiful place to stay
