Holiday cottages are great to book with. Used them a few times now. no problems with them at all. The accommodation this time was great apart from the bedroom which was damp as its underground with no window and made your clothes smell and feel damp. they don't put the heating on low in the summer to help with this, it is just cold and damp. There's an electric heater but you can't leave that on when in bed or are out for the day so it's awful in the underground bedroom. there's also an issue with security in that bedroom. there is no lock on an external glass door which leads up to the street.. the owner said he wasn't allowed to put a lock on it for fire safety and nobody could get in from the outside ..... we checked, and you can get in from the street.. this made me nervous at night and worry whilst we were out. this needs sorting, it's not good at all. the place is not secure at all..
