⭐️ 2/5 – Disappointing Stay and Poorly Equipped Kitchen We booked this property for a joint 80th birthday celebration for my parents with 16 of us staying, but it didn’t meet expectations. On arrival, the bedrooms weren’t arranged as requested, and the property was advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen for 21 people, but this wasn’t the case. The kitchen was badly equipped, with not enough glasses, many utensils and pans in poor condition, and it would not have been possible to cook a full meal. During our stay, the ceiling in the downstairs toilet collapsed — thankfully no one was hurt, but the caretaker’s response felt dismissive once she knew no one was injured, and we were left without a usable downstairs toilet for the rest of the weekend. These issues combined made for an inadequate and disappointing stay.
