It is worth pointing out to people that the price you believe you’re getting isn’t always the case, which I realised to be the case after I booked when the confirmation email stated someone will be in touch in 72 hours to confirm which set off alarm bells.
I emailed and rang the morning after (because even though their website says customer service open until 8:30pm it said it was closed at 6pm) to ask whether my deal is going to massively increase.
Luckily, my holiday only increased by £45pp which is still annoying but nothing compared to the £300 increase I have read on others reviews.
Sam who took my call was so helpful and lovely, I couldn’t fault her customer service, everything was confirmed and sorted swiftly.
I do reccomend holiday gems in the sense of they are often the cheapest and the customer service is great but it’s worth bearing in mind to mentally add £200 on the total for worst case scenario if / when they say the deal isn’t the same as you purchased it for.
