Prior to covid we used Hoppa many times while traveling in Europe. They were always there at the airport waiting which was important since my daughter and I were traveling alone, sometimes arriving late at night. Very recently we had several pick ups arranged in London and Paris. In London the driver was not at the designated pick up location at 11:00 p.m.. After waiting a half hour we finally reached him and he said he was late because he had been working! Really?! He finally showed up but we had to walk a long distance to meet him at a dark underground parking garage which was pretty scary. In Paris we arrived on time and waited 45 minutes. The driver never showed so we took a taxi to our hotel which added considerable cost to our trip. Not happy since I had paid Hoppa in advance for a round-trip pick up over a month in advance! An hour later while we were in the taxi on our way to the hotel someone called but did not identify who they were because he couldn't speak English. He just kept yelling so we hung up.
We were relieved when a driver did show up for our return to the airport but even with his gps he couldn't figure out how to get to our terminal. He took us to the cargo flight area! We were very nervous and asked him why he didn't know the way but he never answered us. By the time he figured out how to get to terminal 2 we had very little time to go through security and get to our gate. We literally had to run to our gate. They advertise that they will be at the designated meeting area IN THE AIRPORT with a sign showing your name, along with the other limo drivers but what they did was try to tell us where to meet them OUTSIDE the airport. We will NEVER use Hoppa again. If you want security with your pickup in a strange airport DO NOT use this service.
