The problem with my reel was not an issue for Hoselink.
It was way out of warranty and except for a small nominal charge to return it for a service and repair it was returned to me like new, complete with new parts that were long missing or broken.
I would not hesitate to recommend purchasing a Hoselink product purely and simply for the fact that thay standby their warranties and service guides.
It seems you have your reel for years despite deterioration from weather and use.
