I purchased the poll to cement into the ground to place the original hose reel on it. It is way too short. You need to bury at least half of it into the ground and the hose reel will be sitting just above the ground. I have to buy a 600ml extender to bury that to then have the hose reel a decent height above the ground.
Still love hoselink products and wouldn't think of purchasing anything else.
