I received a 1000€ worth voucher as a present from my family. I used to book an hotel in Lisbon but, the day I was supposed to leave, our flight was cancelled. I soon informed the hotel and then hotelgift. The hotel told me it was willing to refund if hotelgift cancelled the booking while hotelgift wanted the hotel to cancel first. For months I wrote emails to the hotel in Lisbon and hotelgift but, at the end, they did not do anything. I let the voucher expired with the rest of the money as I did not want to book any more hotels with them. The price of the hotels on their website are anyway far more expensive that with other providers. I absolutely do not recommend to buy their vouchers.
