My 82 year old mother in law bought Hotter sandals from Romford but found them unsafe to walk in. She went back to shop to ask to exchange them but couldn't find her receipt (she paid in cash). She was refused an exchange because the shop didn't register the purchase on their system! What does that mean? If the shop assistant didn't register the sale it isn't anyone else's fault is it! My mother in law now has a pair of sandals costing £59 that she can't wear. I think their policy is dreadful! I will be pursuing this matter further.
