“I ordered from www.us.hotter.com as my sister and mom both said the shoes are very comfortable. The Hotter Shoe Company, at least the company that sells in the United States is TERRIBLE. I will never order from this company again. I kept the shoes (I hope I am not sorry) and returned the slippers. When I placed my online order, the computer kicked me out so I was not sure they even received my order. I received no receipt or confirmation via email. My package did show up ten days later. No receipt in box, just a packing slip. I tried the slippers on and their heavy decorative thread rub the top of my foot, it was very uncomfortable. I returned the slippers by calling them and getting a return slip. They received my return on November 15th and still have not received my refund to my credit card. I can't get help when I call them and website says allow 14 days. In addition, I will have to pay return shipping for their defective product. What a horrible company. Stay away from them, there are many other companies that do have good shoes, Buy from those!!!”

“I received my order and was disappointed with the fit. I always wear a size 7. These shoes were so big I couldn’t keep them on my feet. Called customer service and that was an absolute waste of time. I can’t seem to figure out how to return them and will have to pay postage if I do figure it out. I’m pretty disappointed and disgusted with this company and I won’t be making another order. There is no customer service with this company.”

“When it was owned by Skemmerdale perfect fit. Still have 5 pts that I have. 2 years ago I purchased a pair of the shoe named sugar. The size felt a size larger. Knew something was amiss. After searching the company. Will never purchase again. Too bad those shoes were the best.”

“DONT BUY FROM THIS SHOP EVER! You have been warned! Worst customer service with a very rude manager! I bought a pair of sandals (£50-£60) for my mom, as a gift, from their shop in Cambridge a couple of months ago. Mind you, I was a tourist from Canada. The sandals fit her well so we naturally discarded the receipt. Fast forward to just 1.5 months later, the sandal’s leather layer started ripping off! So of course my mom took their worthless product back. But the manager refused to take them back, demanding that she see the receipt or she might think that these are STOLEN from some place else! Imagine!! The audacity of her! If this had happened in Canada, we would have gotten a full refund and the sales rep wouldn’t even have asked for a receipt. They treat their customers with a lot of respect. SO, DONT EVER GO TO THIS SHOP! HOTTER IS OVER RATED! THESE PEOPLE CANT EVEN RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS! THIS MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED FOR HER CONDESCENDING BEHAVIOUR!”

“I completed the on line purchase with a different delivery address as I’d be away when they were due to be delivered. Where I was staying had very poor internet and phone signal. I did not get the delivery email until several days later. The shoes were delivered to my home, not the alternative address. To make things worse Evri just put them on the doorstep. I have no idea if they are still there, although a friend is going to check. I phoned customer service who said I put my home address as delivery address. I have no way of proving I didn’t. No more Hotter for me! Advice screenshot your order page before sending it to Hotter.”

“I have worn and loved Hotter shoes for many years, but today when I ordered I had to cancel. Why? They no longer use Royal Mail for delivery. The courier, I was told, "may leave the box on the doorstep", no good to me as I'm often out, have no safe place and live in a busy area.”

“As I tried them on for the first time they were very comfortable. They fit my foot perfectly. I've never had shoes with such support and comfort like these do!! Hotter shoes are amazing!!”

“I purchased a pair of sandals (MAYXXE) and a m really disappointed. They are so wide and long. I have been buying Hotter shoes for many years and have never had problem with fit and quality. I wonder what is happening, and they are made in Vietnam, not England. Can I be sure if order anymore that they will be the right size? Please be king enough to let me know.”

“Ordered 2 pairs of womens walking trainer type shoes,recieved them yesterday only to discover both pairs are made in China! One pair ,Galaxy, are cheap looking and uncomfortable. I've bought Hotter for myself and husband for some years as they were very good quality,comfortable on first time wear and because I wanted to support British industry. Previous shoes we had from Hotter were made in England but these were made in China, so I shall be withdrawing custom and returning shoes,I may as well shop at JD Sports or some such outlet now regarding price etc as Hotter aren't cheap ,but the quality now certainly is. Case of Hotter now,not so Hot! Another British industry tended out to foreign manufacturing . Disapointed 🫤”

“The fit is bad I used to have nova which were so comfy having post polio I find it difficult to get to a shop so find it frustrating to have to pay for returns when the product doesn’t fit I now have to find a shoe that is suitable for my needs”

“I like Hotter sandals for the Summer...they are very comfortable. But once I receive the pair that are on order, it will be my last. This is due to the Delivery Service offered by Royal Mail. They arrange a day to Deliver then send a message to say they have tried to deliver the day before!! Then another date is arranged and half way through that day, there is no update on their tracking system of whether the item is actually out for delivery. Really frustrating....Will have to look elsewhere in future which is a shame.”

“I have bought multiple pairs of Hotter shoes in the past. I am unable to create a shipping label from their website. Customer service was not at all helpful. I would not advise placing orders from the U.S. The shoes I ordered do not fit so I am out $109. plus shipping. I will no j longer purchase from them.”

“I used to love Hotter's products. NOT any more. Hotter was taken over and quality (but not price) nose dived. I have a pair of never worn, moulded sole Gortex boots stored in box with labels still on, bought a while ago. I used them first time this week. They lasted precisely 8 minutes - sole crumbled, disintegated and fell off in that time. Cannot be repaired/ replaced so pricey unused boots have to go in bin. Avoid Hotter products.”

“I tried to look at the shoes online after seeing an ad in Yankee magazine. Whoever their marketing person is should take down the ACCEPT COOKIES PAGE. IT IS SO INTRUSUVE that if you don't accept their cookies you can't look at any page of their website. It turned me off and I exited the site and if they look at their bounce rates they will see that MANY others do the same thing. As a shoe company they are shooting themselves in the foot literally. Really stupid.”

“Store laid out nice . But unfortunately I left as none of the shows on display had any prices on them. While I appreciate the staff would have obviously told me if I had asked I didnt want to keep saying g how much are these for every pair I looked at. Would have probably tried a couple of pairs on if they were prices on show . All other shoe stores have prices on their shoes”

“The Hotter shop in Solihull town centre was the 3rd shoe shop I visited today (12.03.24). There were two staff working there. I wish to congratulate them on their absolutely excellent customer service. They were head and shoulders above the staff in the other two shoe shops. I left with two pairs of shoes!!”

“My wife and I visited the Norwich store this morning (Friday 6th March) to purchase shoes. Both of us bought a pair of shoes! We were served by Michelle who was extremely helpful, offered high quality advice on our purchases and is clearly very knowledgeable about which shoes suit a customer's needs. She also had a good manner and empathy with the customer and was a credit to your business. THANKS YOU Very Much.”
