“I have bought a few hotter shoes , and always slipped into them , no problem, But Recently Bought 2 Pairs of Quake 11 in EEE wide fit , Just would like to know WhyFor a Wide fitting shoes , is the strap so short , You can barely Pull it across to fit well , can’t see how they work that out Wide feet but narrow , on that part of the foot ??? The strap even shorter than a pair bought Recently , Mrs Harman”

“I like Hotter sandals for the Summer...they are very comfortable. But once I receive the pair that are on order, it will be my last. This is due to the Delivery Service offered by Royal Mail. They arrange a day to Deliver then send a message to say they have tried to deliver the day before!! Then another date is arranged and half way through that day, there is no update on their tracking system of whether the item is actually out for delivery. Really frustrating....Will have to look elsewhere in future which is a shame.”

“I have 2 pairs of ellery boots which are so soft and comfortable and were from the start . My black ones are looking a bit old now so I decided to by some more . Sadly the design has changed and I thought long and hard about buying. Eventually I did buy and the postage even though it was Christmas and postal strikes was amazing and really quick . Unfortunately the ellery boots are so hard around the ankle and across my toes they have made my feet sore ! The leather isn’t soft like the original boots . I will have to persevere and try to break them in but as for comfort zero out of 5 !”

“Bought new pair of Hotter Relax Slippers/ My old pair had a suede top and soft inner, They were very comfortable and lasted a long time. The new pair are stiff and nowhere near as comfortable.”

“Hi I have always bought white and black ballet shoes with a smart bow on front perfect white comfortable shoes could where with a dress same in black .So disappointed stopped selling them nothing really smart enough to wear with a dress.Any chance of bringing them back.They were definitely 5 star and worth every penny.”

“Like the sandles but wish there was more colours, I like the Sol range and have built up quite a few of these sandles over the years, but wish they would do more vibrant colours like lilac, lemon, lime green and light blue”

“The shoes are really nice- if you fit into their sizing. However, returns are very annoying. The return will take at least a month and if you try to call for a status update, you'll either be put on hold indefinitely or told "I'll look into it" by the lady on the phone and then- "click". I purchased one pair of boots that I wore for a few years and felt were an awesome value, but every pair I've purchased since did not fit my slender foot and had to be returned.”

“Really like the comfort and style of the Hotter shoes I have purchased in the past. However when ordering a pair last week I first checked they were in stock before finally going ahead with order. I have now received an e-mail telling me they are out of stock snd will not be in stock until 1st March. A seven day delivery has become seven weeks. Never again.”

“I personally know that hotter shoes are the best .quality and a proper fit also very comfortable could walk for miles in utter comfort .In my opinion I just can't get better shoes any where else .Also they are worth every penny they are excellent .”

“The delivery time was good of which as a customer you pay for. The returns are charged at £2.50 but that is per pair !! Which is not made clear so to return 2 pairs a charge of £5.00plus delivery charge£3.95 £8.95 to try on a pair of shoes . I will not be using them again”

“Well made. I usually order 5.5 or 6 depending on widths available but Katya 6 std was too long and too wide even for my daughter who wears 6.5. Made in Vietnam printed on inside of upper where customer is unlikely to see it. So much for all their claims about made in their UK factory! Phoned Hotter to arrange return f.o.c. as no other sizes left so no exchange possible.”

“Just purchased a new pair of Nova shoes, they are not at all like my old Nova’s. very hard soles , inner sole also not up to the same standard. They are more bulky and not as attractive looking. Very disappointed and was very tempted to return them but don’t want to pay return postage. I own many pairs of Hotters and have always been very happy with them until now.”

“Bought Mens sandals, supposed colour was "Ocean" so expecting some shade of blue, surprised to receive an opaque shade of brown. Fitting not that good, forward strap too far forward and understrapping too short to reach accross top of foot on centre strapping. Not as comfortable as my old Clark's. Size 9 but seem more like 8.5 toes right at the limit. Not likely to use them again.”

“I have been a regular purchaser of Hotter shoes (mens') because they are comfortable and look good. However I am finding that the shoes now have a tendency to crack across the entire sole quite early in their life which renders them useless and potentially dangerous. I have returned a pair in the past, but the problem with the material quality of the sole obviously still exists.”

“I have been purchasing the Easy sandal for the last four years. Their new design is just awful. It doesn’t fit as snugly, straps are narrower with less support. Whose idea was this? I will not purchase this style anymore.”

“I have been happy with hotter shoes until I came to put on my favourite pair,only to find that the soles had disintegrated and split right across and up the side. They are comfortable,but the soles are rubbish. For the price ,and from reading other reviews with the same problem,I will not be buying hotters again. Will stick to Pavers and Clark’s..”

“After they made a mistake with charging and subsequently demanded another payment I complained and asked for P&P to be dropped as a goodwill gesture to loyal customer for inconveniencing me. They initially refused but when I expressed further disappointment eventually redeemed themselves and apologised profusely.”
