Really struggle with needing a wide fit, have high instep on at least one foot & misshapen due to arthritis & falls. Am also hard on shoes, despite not being able to walk far. I find Hotter just about the best for what I need & good quality. The downside is they send too many e-mails & conflicting “offers” & sales. I also don’t understand how some shoes & sandals are great, very comfortable, while others rub feet, toes/skin. Surely they know their market of more mature women need comfort all the time? I purchased Maddy Sandals many months ago, in their end season sake & wore them for first time recently & they’ve cut my toe & dream blood. I won’t bother trying to send back, but did send some shoes back, that cut back of my foot to shreds, as I didn’t think these could be fit for purpose. I did get a refund finally for those. So, few things they should improve & as they’ve been in business for many years, shouldn’t they have done this by now?
