Extremely Disappointed – Poor Service and Mishandled Delivery (Order #8880409)
I rarely leave reviews, but the experience I had with House of CB deserves serious attention.
I placed an order for 9 dresses, but only received 7. The remaining 2 dresses, in parcel PBAH8116985001, were never delivered to me — not because I wasn’t available, but due to sheer incompetence from both the courier and House of CB’s customer service.
The parcel was supposedly delivered on April 28, a Bank Holiday in the UK when my student accommodation’s reception was closed. Instead of trying again on the next working day, the courier sent it straight to a local Post Office without leaving any notice. I had no idea where my parcel was.
I started contacting House of CB on May 7 through Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and email, but didn’t get a proper response until May 12 – well beyond their promised 48-hour window. When I finally got an answer, I was told the parcel was at the Post Office. But when I went there at 4:00 PM on May 13, it had already been returned to sender at 3:42 PM — more than two hours before their Instagram team told me to collect it at 5:59 PM!
Even worse, I had clearly said on May 9 that I didn’t want a refund and wanted the items resent — but no action was taken.
In short:
• No delivery attempt made on a working day
• No notification about where the parcel was
• Extremely delayed and inconsistent customer service
• No accountability or resolution offered
This has been a frustrating, time-consuming, and totally unacceptable experience for a premium brand. I expected much better. Still waiting on my items, and still no confirmation of reshipment. Completely disappointed.
