Hired a floor sander and an edge sander. The main floor sander is ok, but the sandpaper wears out quickly so if you’re doing a lot, it will get expensive. Found it effective on a parquet floor but on a beam floor it left annoying marks or maybe it couldn’t get into the slight changes of texture. The floor edge sander is useless, it’s awkward to use and does basically nothing. Don’t bother trying to call HSS as they’ll not answer the phone, spent 20 minutes on 2 occasions trying to get through, gave up.
