Continuously charged for items that don't show up. 50% of the time the food arrives cold as the drivers take so long to deliver. They never refund and the customer service chat is terrible- they close chats without resolving and re-place orders incorrectly. You used to be able to call at least and speak to someone, now only the drivers can do that so you have to reject an order on the door to make them take it seriously. They are not a customer-centric company and seem to have no concern when customers evidence that their delivery is incomplete... It's bordering on theft.
Never had these problems with Uber Eats and Just Eat... I hope Deliveroo loose all their customers to these competitors. They deserve to go under.
