Items from the order were missing. I initiated a chat with them immediately. Was informed, nothing they can do on this occasion. Is it not theft when I’ve paid for something not received? Biggest scam. Appalling service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My account has been deactivated for no known reason. I try to get in touch with customer service, initially they were great, but then when they inform me it has been deactivated they are clearly just reading a script. Noone will tell me why and there is no process in place to contest it. I have spent a lot of money with Deliveroo over the years and have been a great customer, I have no idea why this has happened and can't even communicate with anyone to resolve it.

This is absolutely ridiculous customer service. The driver delivered my entire order to a complete stranger. I had to track this random person down myself just to intercept my food. The bag was torn open, and my carrot juice was lying on the floor on the way to the hotel entrance. To top it all off, I was forced to waste even more of my time explaining this whole mess to their support. They never solved the problem and didn’t even refund me for the carrot juice. What a bunch of pathetic scammers. I don’t pick food up off the floor and I will not eat it. Never using this service again.

Always either missing an item when you order, taking over an hour to deliver the smallest orders and taking money from you when an item is out of stock - poor efficiency, poor customer service- poor everything. Absolutely rubbish

Just used them for the first time, unfortunately had some items missing so went on chat. Had someone say they believe me that items are missing but they cannot do anything about it. First time using it and ive already requested for my account to be deleted. No idea why it has to be requested and they don't just delete it.

Very bad business model. And now even if you pay for delivero plus gold you have to pay as much as 3.99 for delivery anyway. It was not like that before. And last time I asked for a refund for valid reasons it was not given. Totally worthless!!

Very poor delivery and service. Many items my items were delivered to the wrong adress. I made complain and my issue got solved eventually even if it was a pain having to do so. Now I had delivery worth £80 and about £50 was missing. I contacted support and they pretty much gave me a kick in the butt and told me to screw off. Never using this company again. Very poor. If you want to order and not even get the item, use delivero. If you want better service use any other delivery service. Never using this service again.

Total nonsense avoid at all costs received food that was burnt and hard which went into the bin was told to send images which i did only to be told nothing can be done after being on chat for over 50 minutes customer service is complete nonsense avoid at all costs

Not very happy with deliveroo because I only got half my order i told them they said I was getting a refund but I never did they kept also saying I weren't gonna get a refund. I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Not a company to be trusted. They had a website glitch, sent me duplicate orders then misdirected me to ‘fraud’ when I tried to send them back. Now stating they wont refund me as both orders were delivered. Very dodgy and much better competitors out there now.

I had a very disappointing experience with Deliveroo’s customer agent named KETI. After raising an issue with my order, I received a response that was not only unhelpful but outright dismissive. I was told that no further information or compensation would be provided, followed by a statement that they “We won’t be responding any further to this” to the conversation. As a customer, and as someone who works in customer service myself I found this completely unacceptable. At no point was I rude or disrespectful, yet my concern was effectively shut down by her without any meaningful explanation or attempt at resolution. If this is the standard Deliveroo sets for handling customer complaints, it’s genuinely concerning. I will be taking this further as a formal complaint.

I had nearly £10 of food missing from my order and deliveroo refused to refund, they said I had too many claims on my account but I dont see why I should suffer if items are missing, I have deleted my deliveroo account, customer service is awful.

We had an appalling experience with Deliveroo’s customer service. After placing a £70 order from PizzaExpress, the delivery was severely delayed. When it arrived, it contained only three dips—no pizzas at all. After multiple calls, Deliveroo begrudgingly agreed to refund the pizza cost only—not the dips, delivery, or tip. The lack of empathy and accountability was staggering. Sadly, we can no longer recommend Deliveroo and will be supporting local businesses.

Quality of service has gone down the drain for the last 6 months or so. We live in London (Zone 1), and have been using Deliveroo quite regularly (2-3 times a week). Recently, our food deliveries have been nothing short of disastrous. We have had incorrect orders, missing items, delayed deliveries, damaged packages. To top it all, when they accept to refund the order, they still keep the service fees and the rider tip. One sliver lining is that we will stop using Deliveroo and similar online food delivery services, go out together as a family instead.
