deliveroo supposed deliver our burger king order 2 miles from burgerking BUT they had another customers order to deliver on route to us ,BUT that customer was 3 miles away ,deliverer had no storage box ,FOOD STONE COLD when delivered ,cost £18,deliveroo refunded £4.50, be warned we will never use deliveroo again ,you need to know this before ordering from deliveroo.

Absolutely disgraceful service. I placed an order and never received the food, yet Deliveroo Ireland still refused to issue a refund. After I gave the code to the driver, he said that he gave the food by mistake to another person. I said, "Well, now you should tell Deliveroo that you did not finalize the delivery." However, he put the code in and finalized it anyway. When I asked for a refund, they tried to contact him, and he refused to answer, so I got no refund and no food. They just don't care about real customers and let us get scammed by drivers. Totally unreliable company with ridiculous customer service and customer retention system. No explanation, no help, just automated replies and complete silence from customer service. They’ve taken my money and delivered nothing — literally. It feels like a scam at this point. I will never use this app again and would strongly advise others to stay far away. Total joke of a company.

My order was picked up and then the driver picked up another order and delivered that firstly by the time I received my order it was cold complained and got told they’re applying for partial refund when all the food was binned and went elsewhere for delivery will never use Deliveroo again totally spoiled a birthday treat

Driver came to my house asked for the code then told me that I needed to call the restaurant because he didn’t have my food. 2nd time they were out of items. I reported this to Deliveroo and they said the order was delivered despite me sharing doorcam footage of the driver telling me it wasn’t. I will never use these companies again. Back to cash on delivery

Quick backstory: Ordered a meal through the app. Meal arrived but the the bag the drink was in was torn and was leaking. The drink itself had leaked almost halfway out. I immediately took the ruined bag/drink to a nearby dumpster and threw it away. I was staying at a hotel so I did not want to bring a leaking bag through the lobby, elevator, hallway, or my room. After getting to my room I tried to report the issue through the app and was able to do this, however, when I was asked to provide photo evidence I wasn't able to (because I had already thrown it away). I provided a picture of the receipt that was on the good bag and uploaded it. All I requested was a refund for the drink. After a total of 10 emails back and forth with 4 different customer service reps, I was treated with a "we're sorry, but because you can't provide a photo we are unable to process your claim." I was asking for a refund of £2.59 and they would not give it to me without photographic proof. I was not about to go dumpster diving. So I told them I would initiate a charge back through my credit card, post negative reviews, and never use the app again. Well I guess it's obvious how this conversation went. Michelle, Kimberlyjoyce, Clarinelle Grace, and Ralph were all unhelpful and unwilling to help out a customer. Terrible customer service. Terrible company. Terrible business. I told them that I would have been happy with a refund and a reminder to take pictures of any issues should I have them in the future. That would have been totally acceptable. But apparently -- to Deliveroo, losing a customer and having to refund them anyways -- via charge back, was more important.

Riders take over an hour with food defrosting. No refund from deliveroo Deleted my account They’re more than happy to take money but won’t cover cost of spoiled food down to either their drivers’ incompetence or an issue with how they prioritise and distribute orders. If the order won’t be delivered on good time with food unspoiled then T least be prepared to compensate. If you can’t afford to compensate, don’t bite off more than you can chew and accept orders which cannot be fulfilled! Simple

Ordered a Burger King and when it arrived it was stone cold and hard. I asked for a refund and was offered a refund for 40p, it’s an absolute insult.

When the driver got to he refused to bring the items upstairs then I had to go downstairs then he refused to give me my shopping, he said give me the code but wouldn't give me the shopping, deliveroo are the worst customer service they don't do anything. Disgraceful drivers and company. DO NOT USE.

The driver stole the produce, lied and said he delivered it, we caught him on CCTV, couldn't speak a word of English. absolutely disgusting. Deliveroo refused to refund me until I told them we had CCTV.

I had not realised that I had paid by Pay Pal and when the driver arrived I gave him38 pounds the order was 32,88 i told him to keep the change he never told me it was already paid for it and when I realised I contacted the company and gave them all the details and after e mails back and forth they told me they would not refund I was shocked at their lack of empathy and I would never buy from them ever again

Had 2 poor experiences in a row a week apart. First one we got the wrong order entirely for the wrong restaurant, order was credited. Second order was over 30 mins after last estimated timeline. We had specified and filtered for fast deliveries only as needed the order within an hour of ordering. It arrived 1 hour and 30 mins after placing order. We received credit of €5.48 for this order. I complained about the cumulative impact and was told nothing extra could be done.

BAD APP, HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APPALLING DECISION MAKING. This is for order 2261. I would like to make a formal complaint about a service I have received from you. On the 27th January, I placed an order with one of your restaurant. As soon as the order was placed, I followed the normal process to "add a dietary requirement". That process took me to your service and to one of your support team members. I explained the situation and asked him to share the restaurant's details so that I could contact them. As you can see from the recorded conversation, he gave me the WRONG phone number - instead of giving me the restaurant's phone number, I was given Deliveroo's number again. I called back and explained the situation and they then offered to call to restaurant, but given that that particular restaurant is very quick to prepare the order, by the time Delivery did the right thing and contacted them, it was too late. The order was received with the wrong dietary requirement, which meant that it could not be eaten due to allergies. When I then spoke to 2 of your customer representative to request the refund of that particular dish (NOT EVEN THE FULL ORDER), I was told that there was NOTHING that could be done (no refund and no compensation), even though the customer representatives CONFIRMED that the mistake had been on Deliveroo's side, during that first phone call. I would like to know how I can appeal that decision which is ludicrous. I did everything I was supposed to do through the app but unfortunately due to YOUR mistake, I could not add my dietary requirement and eat what I received. Given that phone calls are recorded and that the mistake is very clearly on your side, I would also like to know what I can do outside Deliveroo to take this matter further. It is a JOKE that you can agree that you made the mistake, that I did everything right and that you still don't take accountability by providing the refund of the order that could not be consumed. Please let me know how I can take this further, within or outside Deliveroo.

The worse company which exists !!! The came with delivery ( not even for me ) sneaked in Gated parking and drop their motorcycle on my brand new car !!! Promised to review case and revert in 2 days - result I completely got ignored !! Shame on you !!! I’m asking all Dubai to stop using their services ! Please support

AWFUL SERVICE. I am really peed off. I ordered at 4pm to which I waited two hours for my delivery to turn up and it never did. Cannot contact the restaurant at all, completely unreachable. Reordered again at 7.30pm tonight which I wish I never did, it didnt turn up until 9.30pm TWO HOURS LATE AGAIN - the driver drove 10 miles AWAY from my house to come back to a 4 mile trip on a SCOOTER. As expected my food was absolutely freezing, 5 hours later. I have spoke to numerous robotic type employees who are only willing to compensate 3 pound, who just ignore everything that I say. What sort of joke of a company are you? Absolutely terrible customer service over the phone and your online chat. I want a full refund for the 5 hours I’ve waited for my cold takeaway. SCAMMERS
