Paid for priority delivery. Driver was obviously signed on multiple apps as he made another stop on the way. Food arrived cold. Deliveroo refunded £2 on a £40 order. App then makes it impossible to resubmit claim.

Horrific experience, they claim their driver attempted to deliver to us for over 20 mins which was untrue and is obvious by me attempting to communicate to the driver through chat. They then tried to call the driver to ask him why he wasn’t answering my calls. He proceeded to not answer Deliveroos call. To which the agent told me since he isn’t picking up the phone we can’t help. Got put through to a supervisor, they can’t offer refunds or help over the phone and told me to return to the chat, which is refusing to help.

Order didn’t arrive until 13 hours after I placed the order. Really disappointing would not recommend.

This is a disgusting company there drive sat outside a house for 15 minutes I watched on the map when he arrived I asked why was he there for 15 minutes he said I was fixing my cousins car I refused to accept cold food the Deliveroo started threatening if I didn’t accept the food no refund he could have poisoned it but no I’m in the wrong their drivers are doing what they like and Deliveroo don’t care don’t use them let’s make this arrogant company collapse

Placed an order on Deliveroo and received an order from a completely different shop. I contacted deliveroo and they told me they were busy and to contact them later. I did not eat the food they delivered. The next day I contacted Mohammed and provided a photo of what I had received. He kept asking for a copy of the order or what was written on the bag. When I said I had not received either, he then said there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to his supervisor (Raymond) who basically said the same thing. I asked for Raymonds supervisors name and to speak to him/her. At this point Raymond said he could give me a credit or refund for the order which was £2 short of the total. I asked for the refund as I would no be using them again. If I could have done so, I would have given zero stars for their so-called service.

On 19 October 2025, I purchased a £35 Deliveroo gift card. I successfully applied the gift card to my Deliveroo account, but when I attempted to place an order, the payment was declined repeatedly. I contacted Deliveroo for assistance but received no response. I contacted them by phone and by email but they didn't want help. They stole my £35 and no one can help DON'T USE THEM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO END UP LIKE ME. THE WORST THING THEY DON'T EVEN REPLY TO FEEDBACK

Idiot Deliveroo delivery rider on an e-bike riding recklessly and illegally. Went through red traffic light in Tacket Street Ipswich and then through red light at pedestrian crossing in Upper Brook Street Ipswich with no regard for pedestrians. 12:45hrs 27/12/25. DO YOUR STAFF NOT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF A RED LIGHT?

The accept orders but don't have any drivers to fulfill the order so your food just sits for hours at the restaurant getting cold and inedible. If you were unlucky enough to be one of their customers you can get your money back from the bank. Under UK law, specifically the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a right to a refund or other remedy if your fast food delivery is late to the point of being cold/unfit for purpose, or of poor quality.

Worst delivery company. Order through them app few times. Once order came completely wrong and other time order delivered to unknown to me address. Please AVOID this company switch to something better “uber” for example, never had a fault with them

I placed a large order with Deliveroo for a special occasion. The food arrived cold and inedible, and after raising a complaint, I was promised in writing that the pending payment would not be taken. Despite this, Deliveroo still charged me in full. For almost a month I’ve been chasing them for a refund. All I’ve had are copy-paste replies, repeated “5–7 day” promises, and no accountability — even after I provided proof of what their own staff told me. Deliveroo have ignored my evidence and brushed me off at every stage. At this point I’ve had no choice but to escalate my complaint formally through Resolver, as Deliveroo has lied and failed to resolve the issue. This isn’t just poor service — it’s dishonest. I was left out of pocket for an expensive order and treated like my complaint didn’t matter. I won’t ever use Deliveroo again, and I’d strongly warn others to be cautious.

Grabbing money with any excuse.... Like most of the other food delivery services, all they do is inflate the price, then add a service charge, then a delivery charge, and then a PRIORITY delivery charge. Today I ordered food - as the delivery time was showing as 45 minutes and I was in a hurry, I paid the 'priority delivery charge', and guess what - the food was delivered after three quarters of an hour!! I asked customer services for a refund of the priority charge, and of course they won't - because according to them the food was delivered on time!! Well done Deliveroo, you lost one more customer.

Absolute joke of a company. Placed an order with a 20 minute delivery time. After telling me the rider was at the restaurant FIVE times over the space of 2 hours the order was never picked up and had to be cancelled. I spend thousands every year on deliveroo every year and have done for a long time. My partner had to go out for the evening without eating because of this and they think £15 compensation is suitable. You can't even buy a McDonalds for £15 on deliveroo these days. Joke of a company and certainly won't be getting anymore custom from me going forward.

I really enjoy the food from Shah’s, but Deliveroo as a company has been consistently disappointing. A simple issue with a missing/wrong drink turned into a long and frustrating back-and-forth with support. Instead of resolving things fairly, the agents stuck to scripts, passed me around, and made me feel like they just didn’t care. Deliveroo’s customer service seems more interested in protecting their refund limits than actually helping customers. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a small mistake fixed. I’ll keep supporting the restaurants I like, but Deliveroo as a delivery platform is unreliable. If you value good customer service, think twice before using them.
