Ordered food with an expected delivery time of an hour. Delivery time was constantly postponed. After 2 hours the driver contacts me, trying to trick me into giving him my order code. Stating he was at my front door. I told him that he wasn't as I was at my front door. Standing outside, I try to explain to him over 15 mins on the phone where to find the delivery address. He becomes straight out cheeky towards me. I then contact Deliveroo customer service who contacts the driver. They offer re-delivery in about 50 mins or a refund over the order value which is ridiculous seeing that I can now start making food arrangements at 10 PM in the evening in Australia where kitchens are closed at this time on the Coast. I have an 8 yo child that has been waiting a total of 2.5 hours for food at this stage and I can start preparing something in house now. Beyond annoying.
