On 15th Aug, I made an order (#7356). The delivery arrived at 19.37 yet it was someone elese's order (diff order number)! The driver apologised and took it back to the shop. I was not made aware at the time - but the order was re-ordered and arrived 30min later (Order #4559). Receiving after 8pm was unhelpful for me. The order was effectively 30min late yet, after requesting repeatedly on the chat for compensation, i was repeatedly told that ''compensation'' had been given in the form of a ''re-delivery''.That's not compensation; that's my order 30min late!
Deliveroo refund/compensate for 30min late orders, so why should this be any different?
I made a formal complaint and it was rejected - but, again, no reasoning was provided!
