40 minutes after the meal was supposed to be here, I receive a voicemail message to say that the driver is outside - when I get out there, they have driven off with our dinner without even ringing the doorbell and although I called them straight back, he was apparently far to far away to bring it back to us. Initially we were told this was our fault, we had lost the food and would still have to pay the full price. After my predictable response, we ended up with a refund.
We won't be ruining any further evenings with deliveroo.
