Our purpose for the vinyl area rug was to reduce the tripping factor other woven fabrics create. It is being used on our bamboo wood floor to prevent scratches and dents. We purchased a small rug to test and will likely buy a larger one in the near future. However, a deterrent is that I can't order custom sizing. The sizes available are not what we need for the space we have.
