This piece was exactly what I was looking for to practically update the entry floor of the mudroom in my 18th century New England farmhouse. While totally modern and easy-keeping for cleaning, this mat has the warmth of age built in to its appearance. It doesn't jar the eye in a room that still has hand-blown glass window panes.
